What is a Mobile Crèche?

A Mummy SOS mobile crèche is a form of professional childcare that can be moved from one location to another as required, ensuring we are able to provide the comprehensive childcare you require for your event, wherever it may be!

We offer more than just supervised play, and pride ourselves on the high standard of professional childcare we provide for all ages.

How does it work?

Mummy SOS will provide all a team of professional childcare practitioners, each of whom has been fully CRB checked, and trained in both Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection. We will also bring all the toys and activity resources for the event. Parents have the flexibility to drop offtheir children at the crèche for part or all of the event, giving them the freedom toenjoy the entire event without having to worry about their little ones.

Is it suitable for my event?

Yes! Whatever the size or location of your event we can come up with a flexible solution for your childcare needs. Any event, from a small gathering in your own home to a large event at a hired venue, could benefit from a Mummy SOS mobile crèche. When your guests receive their event invitations they will not have to worry about finding a babysitter; they will be able to RSVP instantly when they see that childcare will be provided at your event.

What do I need to provide?

The simple answer is: not much! All we need from you is a suitable area to set up the crèche and details of the children who will be attending the crèche.

We will come and visit the venue before the event to carry out a risk assessment and plan our layout for the crèche. So you know that everything will run smoothly on the big day!

Before we can plan your crèche, we need to know the number of children who will be attending, as well as the age and gender of each child. This enables us to provide you with the correct number of staff, as we always ensure that our staff to child ratios are in line with best practice. Furthermore, we can then bring the most suitable toys and activities for the children who will be present.

How much will it cost me?

Prices are dependant on the number and age of children, duration of event, and location. Please contact us for further information.

We are based in Hertfordshire, and mainly operate in the Hertfordshire and North London area. Although we are happy to travel to other areas, travel costs are reflected in the price.
